Academic work (unbuilt)

Conexsus was a group project in Sydney analysing the city and the diverse means of transportation and the layers of the city.

The idea of figure and ground was key and we analysed the different circuits of the city and our area from past trams, to the sidewalks, busses and trains.

On our specific building as part of the project we made an anti-building, a big hole on the ground where you see no building and instead we have a massive underground car park connected to a sunken plaza.

One can see the vertical circulation through the plaza and the underground layers of the city are revealed. Also the project is an important connection hub for the city of Sydney.
